GSTV 2025: $850 Cash, $450 MediSave for Singaporeans this August

Approximately 690,000 Singaporean seniors aged 65 and above are eligible for this programme. The amount ranges from $150 to $450, depending on their age and the Annual Value (AV) of their home.

  • Sign-Up Deadline for August 2025 Payment: 13 July 2025.
  • Late Sign-Ups (14 July 2025 to 20 June 2026): Payments processed within 2 months.
  • Sign up at govbenefits.gov.sg using Singpass.

Modes of Payment

  1. PayNow-NRIC:
    • Primary mode since 2021.
    • Encouraged to link by 27 July 2025.
    • Payment date: From 6 August 2025.
  2. GIRO via DBS/POSB, OCBC, UOB:
    • Provide bank account info at govbenefits.gov.sg by 28 July 2025.
    • Payment date: From 15 August 2025.
  3. GovCash (Fallback Option):
    • Withdraw at OCBC ATMs using:
      • PRN (available from 22 August 2025 via govbenefits.gov.sg),
      • NRIC number,
      • Facial verification.
    • No OCBC account required.
    • Can also use the LifeSG app for merchant payments or transfer via PayNow-NRIC upon future registration.
