SG60 Initiatives & More: Connecting, Contributing, & Caring for a Stronger Singapore

As Singaporeans celebrate this year’s National Day on 9th August 2025, the theme,"Majulah Singapura" reflects Singapore's 60-year journey of nation-building and the collective spirit of its people.

Given this, the SG60 initiatives aim to strengthen national identity, celebrate the nation’s achievements, and support its people through various schemes and events.

Let’s find out more about the key components of the SG60 initiatives. On top of that, we also highlight the SG60 National Day’s key events, dates, times, and venue for your early preparation and countdown for this jubilant occasion.

SG60 Budget Initiatives:

SG60 Vouchers

• Eligibility: All Singapore Citizens (SCs) aged 21 and above in 2025.
• Value:
  • $600 for SCs aged 21–59.
  • $800 for SC seniors aged 60 and above.
• Usage: Redeemable at participating Heartland merchants, hawkers, and supermarkets.
• Claim Period: July 2025; expires on 31 December 2026.
• Claim Method: Through RedeemSG via Singpass; assistance available at Community Centres/Clubs.

SG60 Matching Grants

• Purpose: Encourages donations to national social and community programmes.
• Matching Ratio:
  • $1 for every $1 donated (General Matching).
  • $1.50 for every $1 donated for donations of $250,000 or more per year with a minimum three-year commitment (Enhanced Matching).
• Eligible Organisations: Community Chest, President's Challenge, and the Collective for a Stronger Society.
• Total Matching Fund: Up to $250 million.

SG Culture Pass

• Eligibility: All Singaporeans aged 18 and above in 2025.
• Value: $100 worth of credits.
• Usage: For tickets to local arts and heritage programmes, including performances, exhibitions, and workshops.
• Validity: From 1 September 2025 to 31 December 2028.
• Claim Method: No action required until September 2025.

SG60 ActiveSG Credit Top-Up

• Eligibility: All Singaporeans aged 18 and above in 2025.
• Value: $100 top-up to ActiveSG accounts.
• Usage: For sports and fitness activities, including facility bookings and programs.
• Validity: Expires on 31 December 2026.

Rental Rebate for Hawkers

• Purpose: Supports hawkers in managing rental costs.
• Details: To be announced.

Personal Income Tax Rebate

• Details: To be announced.

SG60 Deals and Discounts

Special promotions to encourage Singaporeans to rediscover iconic attractions:

• PororoPark Singapore: Family bundle (2 children + 2 adults) for $60.
• Royal Albatross: $60 off special SG60 sailings.
• Singapore River Cruise: Discounted ticket prices until 31 December 2025.
• Skyline Luge Singapore: SG60 Promo Family Fun Bundle for $60.
• Singapore Flyer: 2 tickets for $60.
• Madame Tussauds Singapore: 2 tickets for $60 with promo code “SG60”.
• Snow City: Family bundle (2 adults + 2 kids) for $60.
• Changi Experience Studio: Exclusive SG60 deals from March 2025.

SG60 Baby Gift

Key Details:

• Eligibility: All SC children born in 2025. Multiple births (e.g., twins, triplets) qualify for separate gifts.
• Registration: Parents must complete birth registration before registering for the SG60 Baby Gift. Registration open until 28 February 2026 via go.gov.sg/SG60BabyGiftReg.
• Delivery: Gifts delivered to a local Singapore address. Overseas parents must provide a Singapore-based proxy’s address.
• Items Included: Commemorative and useful items marking this milestone and supporting the child’s developmental journey.

SG60 Icons of Home

A series of collectible pins designed by local artists will be released monthly from July to December 2025. Each design will celebrate Singapore’s history, culture, and identity. These pins will be available at selected SG60 events.

Distributed free of charge, these pins are in limited quantities (while stocks last) at the designated events. When all six pins are collected, they can be pieced together to form the shape of Singapore, as mentioned on its official website.
